| Menjadi tema tahun ini adalah Working Together for Good Order at Sea, yang dipimpin oleh Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut Indonesia Laksamana Ade Supandi dan dihadiri oleh sejumlah kepala angkatan laut dari Negara regional. Laksdya Barrett pada kesempatan tersebut bertemu dengan Menko Polhukam Bapak Dr H. Wiranto. Laksdya Barrett mengatakan pada konferensi tersebut, tidak ada negara yang dapat bertindak sendiri mengatasi tantangan maritim yang dihadapi di wilayah kita, baik itu tantangan terorisme hingga kejahatan transnasional, maupun kerusakan lingkungan, ataupun eksploitasi sumber daya laut. | |

| BALI - Australia’s Chief of Navy Vice Admiral Tim Barrett was a guest of honour at the International Maritime Security Symposium in Bali. Working together for good order at sea was the theme of this year’s conference, which was hosted by TNI-AL Chief, Admiral Ade Supandi and attended by Naval chiefs from a host of regional nations. Admiral Barrett also met with Indonesia’s coordinating minister for politics, law and security Dr H.Wiranto. VADM Barrett told the conference, no country can truly expect to act alone to solve the maritime challenges which are faced in our region, whether those challenges arise from terrorism to transnational crime, or to environmental damage, or to marine resource exploitation. | |
